Asbury College

ChapelAsbury College, founded in 1890, has been at the heart of spiritual movements throughout its history. Primarily a four-year, multi-denominational institution, Asbury College is ranked third among comprehensive colleges in the South by U.S. News & World Report.

Asbury College provides many opportunities for community members to get involved in scholastic activities.

Kinlaw Library

Located just down the street from Bethel Pointe, Asbury College’s Kinlaw Library is an excellent resource for the community. Built in 2001, the library contains over 150,000 items on three floors, as well as computer labs and network connections at all of the study tables, carrels, and study rooms. Community members can apply for a library card to check out books and use the computers.

Chapel

ChapelEvery Monday, WednÂesday, and Friday at 10:00, a chapel service is held in Asbury College’s Hughes Auditorium. This rich tradition is open to the community and is a great way to experience worship Âand be challenged spiritually and intellectually.

Audit Classes

If you are interested in enriching your mind, auditing a class at Asbury College is a great way to involved. In fact, senior citizens may participate in a Tuition Remission Program which provides the opportunity for any person 62 or older to enroll in classes at the college tuition-free and to participate in the intellectual, social, and cultural programs of the college.
