Mike and Faye Montgomery
It all began back in January 2006. Faye saw the signs and was immediately interested so she talked to me about it and we agreed to meet Rachel at the model in Nicholasville. Rachel was very cordial and answered about a 100 questions. Little did she know that the questions from us would continue until after we moved.
The only reason we waited a couple of weeks before signing a contract was that Bethel Pointe wasn’t officially open for business. The first day they started selling Faye and I made our way over here and put down our deposit. It seemed like the deposits would never end and our condo would never be ready but we finally made it through the wait and we moved in on August 18, 2006. We were the third unit occupied because the location we chose was not built until they had models and a clubhouse.
The only issue I had was that I wanted to make some minor changes, like pre-wiring Ethernet and speaker cables. For the most part I understood their strict policies, there was one that bothered me and that was that I couldn’t come over going through the unit until pre-set times. We have built several houses and I was always welcome to come in and inspect the progress.
The staff was wonderful, so easy to work with and always ready to answer our questions. This was true for the sales staff as well as Kevin, Jason and Bryan who did everything they could to take care of us and address our concerns. That continues to be the case and we would do it all over again because we love our house. It seems that so far everyone fits in quickly and is part of our growing community.
There have been so many good times and we have enjoyed the activities and feel that the people of Bethel Pointe are our extended family. We look forward to many more good times and many more new faces for me to remember. Some of you may already know that I am not very good with names. The other night our church had a dinner for people who helped with music over the last year, (don’t worry, I got to tag along because of Faye) and I was discussing this with a friend who is a school teacher and he said that you have to encounter something an average of 17 times before you know it. But , he was a third grade teacher and I’ll you reach your own conclusion about that.
